Virtual villagers 5 love shack12/8/2022 ![]() ![]() Only adult villagers can perform certain tasks in the game, and are needed in order to do any of the skills. Villagers are the little people who have made the lovely Isola their home, and it’s up to you to make sure they stay healthy, advance their culture, and have lots of babies to live for many generations to come! Why do I have to start the game with 2 adults (one of each gender)? Totems can, however, be lost if you reset your game. Most Totems can be stacked 3 times, however, Population Totems can only stack twice. Using the example above, if you purchased (stacked) 3 Learning Totems, the rate at which your villagers’ learned their skills would be much faster than they were originally. Totems can “stack”, which means the more you have of that Totem, the power of that Totem increases. For example, the Totem of Learning will increase your villagers’ rate of learning their skills which in turn, of course, makes them more successful as they perform those skills. Totems are, essentially, permanent power-ups that you buy with Lavastones that do something specific for your village. For example, the rate you can earn Tech Points is boosted by upgrading Research and with each Medicine upgrade your villagers will live longer, healthier lives. Technology Upgrades allow you to progress in the game by unlocking more advanced levels of each of the technologies. What do Technology Upgrades do? Do I need them? You can also purchase Tech Points using Lavastones. You can earn them faster by upgrading the Research Technology and also by purchasing one or more of the Science Totem. They can also be found in certain events around the Island, watching ads, and in Random Events. The more experienced your Scientist is, the more tech points they will earn. Tech Points can be earned by having Scientists research at the Research Table. ![]() ![]() Tech points are used to purchase Technology upgrades, and can only be lost if you reset your game. Tech Points, Technology Upgrades & Totems You do not have to keep the game open during this time however, if you pause the game, the nursing timer will not count down and it will take longer for the baby to be “born”. It will take 4 real time hours for the baby to be able to walk around on their own. How long does it take for my villager to stop nursing the baby? Also bear in mind that, as in real life, the health and food supply of your village will affect villagers’ ability to bear children. If you’d like your villagers to become parents, you will need to select “Auto-Breeding” for at least one adult of each gender in the Villager Details menu. If nobody visits the Love Shack for a while, make sure that at least one villager of each gender is selected as your auto-parent. Don’t give up! Why do my villagers never try to have a baby on their own? You may need to send your villagers to the Love Shack a few times before they welcome a new life into the village. Just as in real life, villagers will not always become pregnant. Why is my female villager not pregnant after trying for a baby? Remember that villagers have personalities just like we do, so they may not be interested in each other on the first few tries. How do I make new villagers?ĭrag an adult male villager onto an adult female villager or vice versa and wait for them to go to the Love Shack to try.
